TOA MUSIC WORKSHOP

TOA Music Workshop, which TOA started in hometown of Kobe as a free music education program for school children in the Kansai area. In FY2011 TOA began expanding this program nationwide, and it have seen a major increase in the number of events. It's a program that lets children encounter music with their school friends, to sing and dance, and generally stimulates their music interest and sensibilities.

I'm in program called "Animal Concert"with 3 musicians(Saeko Yasunaga,Tomoaki Yasunaga,Yoshinori Yamashita),2 dancers(with Mikako Suzuki),staff of TOA and NPO Kids Meets Artists for the lower grades.There's a program "Step to Beat!"for the higher grades.

Workshop at Colmena

I'm Colmena is a facilities for the mentally handicapped in Takatsuki,Osaka.There's several program of Art.(dance and music,swimming,drawing,sewing,calligraphy,ceramics,rock-climbing etc...)I'm doing workshop once a month with Kenji Sato(percussion)and Naoki Hida(cordinator).There's some guest musicians also(K-Taro(sax)etc...)

Bodywork for students

I assist a bodywork class of Chikako Bando at Kyoto College of Health and Hygiene for first grade from 2012.Each year there's 11 classes.We invite guest teachers ,Emi Naya(Alexander Technique)and Kouji Ushiwaka(lecture of gender and body).

In 2013,we went to Nanzan University in Nagoya for meet the society for the study of bodyworks with Glover,Toshiko who wrote some books of bodyworks.We focus on self-care and how to touch and communicate with the patient.

Class/Shooting

I have been teaching classes of Classic Ballet,Street Jazz,Contemporary dance for studio,school,daycare center,Facilities for the mentally handicapped,rehearsal space for figure Skating and another space.

And I'm taking some videos for dance classes,performances and Art project.

KAMO/Konohana Arts Meeting for Osaka

Kamo is a conference to study about Art.This's a three year plan.Each month we invite the guest speackers to talk about his/her works and have a time of discussion. It's open for everyone and held at Otonari in Konohana,Osaka.We started from 2013 and we had 12 guests until now.The topics were design, galley, crtics, theater, alternative space,art fair and public art space etc ...The topics will change every time.

KAMO's members are Tashihiro Yamanaka(the three konohana gallery),Kouichi Morisaki(Kansai Art Calender),Erina Yamanaka(Kansai Art Calender).Tetsuya Goto(ooo projects)and I are support members.
